These braces are coming off - February 18, 2010!
I will probably post before, during and after photos, if Todd gets industrious (and if anyone cares).
Then comes a year in a retainer, 24/7, and then another year with retainer at night. Small price to pay. I can't wait to brush my teeth without wires shredding the bristles. Actually feeling the brush on my teeth! Never thought I'd care about that, but, oh! Oh ... I can't wait!

Woohoo! i know you are thrilled to see light at the end of the tunnel. My son John gets his braces put on on this Thursday, and he can't wait! (Something about being twelve...)
Glad your house is fresh and de-cluttered somewhat for the new year. It's a good feeling, but we have that constant battle to keep up with it as well.

Yay for you! Can't wait to see the pics either. My daughter is into her 4th month of braces and is already fed up with the shredded toothbrush - and the shredded mouth :-)

Wonderful news! I know you must be ready. Marina is almost out of hers. She wears a retainer on the bottom and she's got a couple months more for the top brace. We had expected it off in December, but her orthodontist is a perfectionist, he's tweaking his work. :o)

So we went to the dentist for a cleaning today... The doctor calls me into a private room to let me know that Randy has a crossbite that needs orthodontic attention ASAP. We don't have the $ for it right now, but it sure comes at you all at once, huh?!? Goodness!
